Tooling & Injection Molding
Mold design review, tool manufacturing supervision and injection production — from single-cavity prototype tools to multi-cavity production molds, with the engineering oversight that keeps T1 close to target.
What This Service Covers
- Mold flow & tool architecture review
- Tool steel & component selection guidance
- T0/T1 sample evaluation & correction tracking
- Multi-shot, insert & over-molding support
- Production molding with process parameter control
- Color matching, texture & finish management
Why Tooling & Injection Molding Decides Your Project's Outcome
The engineering reality
A mold is a six-figure commitment made once. Supervised tooling with documented correction loops protects that investment and your launch date.
How we deliver
- Documented scope and acceptance criteria per stage
- Weekly progress with reviewable outputs (CAD, samples, reports)
- Cost and timeline flags raised early, with options — not surprises
Tooling & Injection Molding — Questions
How long does a production mold take?
Typically 4–8 weeks for a standard single/two-plate consumer part, longer for complex multi-cavity or high-precision tools. We publish a milestone schedule per tool.
Can I watch the tool being built?
Yes. We provide weekly DFM/T1 reports, video of trial shots and inspection data throughout tool fabrication.
Do you support low-volume molding?
Yes — soft/prototype tooling, aluminum tooling and short-run molding programs are a regular part of our work.
